Patricia “Pat” Mae Bliss

Patricia “Pat” Mae Bliss, age 74, of Omaha, Arkansas, passed away peacefully with family by her side Sunday, June 14, 2020. She entered this life September 20, 1945, in Cleveland, Ohio, the daughter of Jess and Grace (Myford) Stalnaker. Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Cremations of the Ozarks.

An active member of Pines Community Christian Church in Blue Eye, Missouri, Pat was always ready and willing to share her faith in the Lord. She and the love of her life, Al, owned and operated their restaurant in Fort Myers, Florida, “The Hut”, for 22 years. Many friends and family members had the pleasure of working with them during that time. She enjoyed gardening, baking, and being with her family. Most of all, she loved her family and their times together. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Pat is preceded in death by her parents and three brothers: Charles, James, and Gerald Stalnaker.

She is survived by her son, Duane (Carla) Bliss of Omaha, Arkansas; the love of her life, Alfred “Al” Bliss of Omaha, Arkansas; grandchildren: Alyson Bliss and Michelle (Brett) Brown-Gamble; three sisters: Sharon Ayers of Akron, Ohio, Anna Kelly of Richfield, Ohio, and Norma Riedle of Sycamore, Ohio; two brothers: Bob (Eva) Stalnaker of Fort Myers, Florida, and Jake (Pat) Stalnaker of Arlington, Texas; two sisters-in-law: Alice (Mike)Farris of Fort Myers Beach, Florida, and Lila (Don) Hein of Lehigh Acres, Florida; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
