Patrick McLean, age 90, of Cassville, Missouri, passed away Sunday, July 7, 2019 at Roaring River Health and Rehabilitation in Cassville.
He was born on May 14, 1929 in Long Beach, California, the son of Neil and Agnes (Rigney) McLean. On April 4, 1965 he was united in marriage to Joyce Jacobs, who preceded him in death on February 17, 2013. Also preceding him in death were his parents and three sisters.
Survivors include one son, Jon McLean of Cassville, Missouri; one grandson, Austin McLean and his wife Carissa of Monett, Missouri; one granddaughter, Brooke Randles and her husband Collin of Monett, Missouri; two great grandchildren, Spencer and Zoey; one brother, Mickey McLean of Garden Grove, California and one sister, Joan Dressier of Laguna Woods, California.
Patrick grew up and received his education in Long Beach, California where he graduated from high school. On November 23, 1950 he was drafted into the United States Army, serving until October 16, 1952, during the Korean War. For many years he worked for the City of Long Beach in the Parks Department, retiring in 1979. After his retirement he moved to Cassville to make his home.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 12, 2019 at Oak Hill Cemetery in Cassville, under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Pastor Jeff Fugitt will conduct the services.
