Paul Alvin Henson
Paul Alvin Henson, age 85, of Cassville, Missouri, passed away 3:05 A.M., Monday, September 14, 2020 at his home surrounded by his family.
He was born February 3, 1935 in Shell Knob, Missouri the son of Alvin A. and Francis (Starky) Henson. On December 5, 1958, he was united in marriage to Alta Owens, who survives. Also surviving are three children, Billy Jack Henson, Lesa Gail Fancher and her husband Jimmy and Travis Henson all of Cassville; three grandchildren, Shane Fancher, Sara Moller and Chance Henson; three great grandchildren; seven siblings, Treva Vineyard of Tennessee, Dewey Henson and his wife Sue of Springdale, Arkansas, Darrell Henson and his wife Melba, Dale Henson and his wife Jean, Harold Henson, Marrion (Foxxie) Henson and Connie Henson all of Cassville.
Preceding him in death were his parents; thirteen brothers and sisters and one grandson, Toby Fancher.
Paul received his education at Gaddis School. For several years he was a heavy equipment operator and was also a carpenter. He then worked for FASCO from which he retired. Some of his favorite pastimes were coon hunting, trapping, being outside and most of all enjoying and spending time with his family and friends. Paul was of the Pentecostal Faith.
He put up a good fight, but he said he was ready to go home.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, September 17, 2020 at Fields Cemetery in Shell Knob, under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Brother David Donaldson will conduct the services.
