Paul Bradley Smith
Paul Bradley Smith, age 95, of Springfield, Missouri, passed away August 29, 2020, at his home with family nearby. He entered this world September 9, 1924, in Blue Mountain, Arkansas, the son of Thomas and Ludie Mae (Bradley) Smith. Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Cremations of the Ozarks.
Proudly serving our country in the U.S. Army Air Corps, Paul was a Douglas C-47 pilot during World War II. He was an avid golfer, attaining 4 holes-in-one. Paul earned a Bachelor of Science degree and actively pursued archery, hunting, lapidary, beekeeping, fishing, and flying ultralight planes. He played both trumpet and trombone in bands in the Branson area. Paul had many accomplishments throughout the years and made many memories with people who will recall them for years to come. He will be greatly missed.
Paul is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Ada Ruth “Tommie” Smith; and brother, T.J. Smith.
He is survived by two daughters: Paula Ruth St. James of Springfield, Missouri, and Tommie Smith Minard of Springfield, Missouri; three grandchildren: Erin Hopper Fawkes, Kevin Hopper, and Skyler Minard; and two great-grandchildren: Kosten Hopper and Koa Fawkes.
