Richard Lee Putman
Richard Lee Putman, age 78, of Hollister, Missouri, met his Lord and Savior on January 29, 2021. He entered this life on June 14, 1942, in Fort Worth, Texas, the son of Bruce and Rose Marie Putman. Richard was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Larry Putman. He was joined in marriage on October 28, 1978, to Sheila Richardson.
A man of faith, Richard always did what he could to help with his church. He liked to keep busy, whether it was time outdoors or in his garage. Richard loved boating and camping, and eventually became a Duck Boat Captain for Ride the Ducks in Branson, Missouri. When not on the water, Richard was always tinkering and creating wonderful and useful innovations in metal and woodworking. Throughout most of his life he was a self-employed metal welder. Richard was a loving and wonderful husband and father. He will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Sheila Putman; two daughters: Sandi Rogers of Arlington, Texas, and Debbie Bowling of Chadwick, Missouri; son, Jason (Kristi) Morrison of Ozark, Missouri; and eight grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sunday January 31, 2021, at Grace Family Church, 2066 State Highway 76, Branson, Missouri 65616 with Pastor Danny Fullington officiating.
