Robert “Shorty” Earl Steven Youngblood

Robert “Shorty” Earl Steven Youngblood, age 29, of Hollister, Missouri, passed away suddenly November 14, 2020, in Branson, Missouri. He entered this life December 27, 1990, in Kirksville, Missouri, the son of Jeffery and Sheryl (Stephens) Youngblood. Preceding him in death are his grandmothers: Sherry Jo Youngblood and Kathy Stephens. He was joined in marriage December 17, 2017, to Kala Marie Barron.

Steven Youngblood

A songwriter and musician, Steven could be often found helping with the services at the Cedar Valley Community Church. He was the recovery program director and had a heart for helping others get their lives in order. Steven shared the love of Jesus with everyone he met and was always looking for ways to make a difference in the lives of others. He was a great dad and husband and loved his family dearly.

Steven is survived by his wife of three years, Kala Youngblood; son, Jeffrey Youngblood; parents: Steve and Sheryl Youngblood of Ozark, Missouri; two sisters: Rebekah Youngblood of Florida, and Rachel (Montey) McCain of Columbia, Missouri; niece and nephew: Jayden and Ella; grandparents: Hobert and Kay Youngblood of Aurora, Missouri, and Bob Stephens of Arkansas; and many friends and extended family.

A celebration of life will be 1:00 p.m. November 21, 2020, at the Northside Assembly of God Church, 2310 N Campbell Ave., in Springfield, Missouri. A memorial fund for Kala and Jeffrey is set up at the Cedar Valley Community Church, in Hollister, Missouri, at (417) 238-1219.
