Rodman Albert Hemmer was born, Thursday, December 12, 1957 in Kansas City, MO to Robert and Lavern (Smith) Hemmer. He attended school in Bradleyville and graduated from Bradleyville High School. After graduation, Rodman enlisted in the U.S. Air Force in May of 1977 and was honorably discharged in 1978. He was very passionate about building model cars and airplanes and was a very skilled wood worker.

He is survived by two sisters, Jackie Hodges and husband, Jerry of Bradleyville, Linda Derr and husband, David of Bradleyville; three nephews, Daniel Gillespie and Jerry Gillespie and wife, Marie, William Beasley and wife, Taryn; one niece, Brandy Beasley; aunts, Beverly Smith of Bradleyville, Teddie Coulter and husband, Chuck of Brighton, MO and many great nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Hemmer; mother, Lavern Swadley; grandmother, Goldie Smith; three uncles, Bert and Garland Smith and Raymond Swadley; one aunt, Sue Swadley.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Kissee-Schofield-Eakins Funeral Home LLC, Forsyth, MO.
