Roger R. Winchester

Roger R. Winchester, age 80, of Shell Knob, Missouri, passed away Thursday, December 5, 2019 at his home.

He was born April 1, 1939 in Saco, Maine, the son of Guy and Helen Winchester. On November 7, 1964 he was united in marriage to Sandra Jean Winchester, who preceded him in death on May 6, 2014.

Surviving are three sons, Teddy Scesny of Clinton, Massachusetts; Guy Winchester and his wife Tanya of Shell Knob, Missouri and Roger Winchester of Clinton, Massachusetts; one daughter, Betsy West and her husband Kevin of Clinton Massachusetts; two sisters, Donna Normand and her husband Leon of Virginia and Nancy Kiernan of Biddeford, Maine; twelve grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Roger grew up in Maine and graduated from Thornton Academy in Saco. Most of his life was spent working with hollow metal doors and frames for United Builders Supply. In 2017, he moved from Marlboro, Massachusetts to Shell Knob to make his home. Some of his favorite pastimes were woodworking in his shop and traveling, always by auto. He loved his dog, Daisy and especially enjoyed spending time with his family and grandkids.

No services are scheduled at this time. Cremation arrangements are under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Shell Knob.
