Ronald Eugene James
Ronald Eugene James, age 75, of Exeter, Missouri, passed away Sunday, May 19, 2019 at Roaring River Health and Rehabilitation Center in Cassville.
He was born December 15, 1943 in Redding, California, the son of Donald and Mildred (Cline) James. On August 12, 1967 he was united in marriage to Elaine Faultersack, who preceded him in death on May 15, 2018. Also preceding him in death were his parents.
Surviving are one son, Ronald James Jr. and his wife Laura of Oak Harbor, Washington; one daughter, Gail Gooding and her husband Jon of Moses Lake, Washington; one brother, Richard James of Oakdale, California; two sisters, Beverly Asbill and her husband Sonny of Vian, Oklahoma and Yvonne Benge of Escalon, California; nine grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
Ronald grew up and received his education in California where he graduated from Oakdale High School. After high school he lived in Oregon then moved to Washington where he worked over thirty years as a Millwright for Weyerhaeuser from which he retired. Around fourteen years ago he moved to Exeter to make his home.
He was a member of Living Word Mission Church in Simco, where services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 26, 2019. Pastor Billy Joe Gentry will conduct the services.
Cremation arrangements are under direction of McQueen Funeral Home in Wheaton.
