Rose Brown, Kimberling City, MO, daughter of Stephen and Teresa (Sisak) Krenicky, was born on October 20, 1924 in Madison, IL and departed this life on April 11, 2020, at the age of 95.
Rose had lived in the area for the past thirty-five years coming from Saginaw, MI. When she was younger, she worked at a ammunition factory during WWII then at a candy factory. Rose was an avid volunteer at Our Lady of the Cove Catholic Church. She counted money and worked at the food pantry and enjoyed conversing with people.
Rose was preceded in death by her parents, Stephen and Teresa Krenicky; husband, Floyd Brown; brother, Steve Krenicky and two sisters, Ann Howard and Catherine Ely.
Survivors include: a sister, Susie Wendal of Granite City, IL; niece, Lisa Ely of Branson, MO; great niece, Jenna Ely of Branson, MO and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 15, 2020 in Our Lady of the Cove Catholic Church, Kimberling City, MO with Father Joji Vincent officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Glen Carbon, IL. Services are under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home, Kimberling City, MO.
