Stephen “Steve” Douglas Salley

Stephen “Steve” Douglas Salley, age 69, of Branson, Missouri, passed away Monday, June 22, 2020, at his home with family by his side. He entered this life December 20, 1950, in Atlanta, Georgia, the son of Richard and Marjorie (Morrow) Salley. His father has preceded him in death. He was joined in marriage December 30, 1978, to Ruth Wilcox. Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Cremations of the Ozarks.

Steve proudly served our country in the United States Army. A musician, poet, and artist, he enjoyed sharing his talents with others. Steve enjoyed exploring with electric bicycles and would often ride dozens of miles. With his tinkering abilities could fix almost anything. His passion was meeting new people, and he could talk to anyone at any time. Steve influenced many people over the years, leaving laughter, memories, and stories of his generous heart. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Steve is survived by his wife of 41 years, Ruth Salley of the home; son, Christian Salley of Branson, Missouri; daughter in law Amanda Salley of Branson; two granddaughters: Lauren and Claire; mother, Marjorie Salley of Melbourne, Florida; and brother, Mark Salley of Melbourne, Florida.
