Steven Jones

A man of the outdoors, Steven enjoyed hunting, fishing, building, riding 4-wheelers, and spending time at the lake. He loved his truck, guns, work, his dog “Jax,” and a steady fire with a cold beer. Steven was good-hearted and giving to all who knew him. Most of all, he loved being a Papa and spending time with his family. Many memories have been tucked away in the minds of those who knew him and will return as smiles on their faces for years to come.

Steven is preceded in death by his father, Adam Jones Sr.; brother, Greg Jones; grandson, Greyden Huffman; and niece, Marisa Jones.

Steven is survived by his wife, Stacy Jones, and stepdaughter, Khloe Mitchell of the home; three daughters: Jessica (Jeremy) Huffman of Nixa, Missouri; Courtney (Cy) Stringer of Republic, Missouri; and Bayli Jones of Clever, Missouri; grandchildren: Kadynze Huffman, Breklyn Huffman, Raeya Huffman, Laightyn Stringer, Avery Stringer, and one grandchild on the way; mother, Mary Jones of Republic, Missouri; four brothers: Dean Jones, Gerald Jones, Andy Jones, and Adam Jones Jr.; two sisters: Cindy Harris and Linda Loden; and several nieces and nephews and extended family.

A visitation will be held 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Thursday May 14, 2020, at the Historic Hollister Train Depot, 290 Esplanade Dr., Hollister, Missouri. A celebration of life will be held at a later time.
