Steven William Schroeder

SGT. Steven William Schroeder, age 75, passed away Saturday, June 12, 2021. Steven was born July 3, 1945, to the late William H. Schroeder and Catherine Figge-Schroeder of Ossian, Iowa.

He attended De Sales school and graduated June 5, 1964. Steven enlisted in Active-Duty in the U.S. Air Force on March 9, 1965, through October 8, 1968. He served with U.S. Air Force Reserve until he was honorably discharged on March 8, 1971. Steven worked for the Interstate Power Company until 1980, when he moved to Branson, Missouri, to fulfill his dream of owning part of Clements Auto Body and Salvage.

He was survived by his wife, Ann Marie Schroeder; daughter, Renee A. Schroeder and her mother, Jean Marquardt-Schroeder. He is also survived by sister, DeAnn Hemesath; brother, Karl Schroeder; a host of nieces and nephews; as well as many friends and wonderful neighbors.

Steven has chosen cremation and Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 24, 2021, at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church with Rev. Robert Gross officiating. Inurnment will follow at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Cemetery in Ossian, Iowa.
