Tamera Marie Hurley
Tamera Marie Hurley, age 63, of Hollister, Missouri, passed away May 23, 2021, at her home with family nearby. She entered this life December 1, 1957, the daughter of John and Margaret (Scoggins) Wilson. Her father and a granddaughter, Justine Perkins, have preceded her in death. Tamera was joined in marriage April 19, 1974, to Randy Hurley.
A worship leader, Tammy had the heart of a servant, which was evident as she played and led songs during the services. Her “Tammy-isms,” infectious laugh, and storytelling abilities always had the attention of the people where she was speaking. She was known for her art of decorating, skills in organizing, and genuine heart in taking care of others. Tammy loved her family, especially her grand and great grandbabies. Her love shared will bring fond memories for generations to come.
Tammy is survived by her husband of 47 years, Randy Hurley; two daughters: Charity (Jerry) Perkins of Roseville, California, and Heather (Paul) Santos of Mayfield, Kentucky; son, Jeremiah (Alisha) Hurley of Fairfield, California; five grandchildren: Alyssa, Brittany, Cheyanna, Alec, and Cameron; four great-grandchildren: Nevaeh, Ivy, Zane, and Maddison; mother, Margaret Wilson of Hollister, Missouri; sister, Trina (Bob) Gallego of Roseville, California; two brothers: John (Carolyn) Wilson of Richmond, Missouri, and Reggie (Kimberly) Wilson of Oakdale, California; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
