Thomas “Tom” Harpool

Thomas “Tom” Harpool, age 86, of Branson, Missouri, passed away peacefully at home March 31, 2020. He was born October 5, 1933, in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of Alex and Edna Harpool. Tom was joined in marriage April 15, 1978, to Victoria Danczek. Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Cremations of the Ozarks.

Tom proudly served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. After his service to his country, Tom worked in the toy industry. He enjoyed rodeos, hunting, boating, and collecting ducks and M&M items. Most of all, he loved his friends and family and will be missed dearly by those who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Alex Harpool.

Tom is survived by his loving wife of almost 42 years, Victoria Harpool of the home; two sons: Daniel Harpool of Kansas City, Missouri, and Stephen Harpool of Overland Park, Kansas; a daughter, Tamra Murray of Overland Park, Kansas; five grandchildren: Lloyd, Rachel, Jessie, Daniele and Luke; multiple great-grandchildren; a sister, Barbara Butler of Nebraska; sister-in-law, Rita Danczek; and the mother of his children, Doreen Harpool of Overland Park, Kansas.

No services are currently planned. Memorials may be made to research with the Alzheimer’s Association www.alz.org .
