Thomas “Tom” J. Majors

Thomas “Tom” J. Majors, 71, of Pierce City, Missouri, went to his heavenly home Friday, May 1, 2020, with family by his side.

Tom was born March 9, 1949, to Thadford and Merle (Nicola) Majors, who preceded him in death.

Tom worked 42 years as a tool and die maker at Roderick Arms and Tool in Monett. Tom loved his hometown of

Pierce City and served the community of Pierce City first as an alderman on the City Council and then serving as the Mayor for Pierce City.

Tom was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan. He enjoyed hunting, going to the casino, and watching ghost and history shows. His favorite times were with his family and friends.

Surviving are: wife, Michelle of the home; a sister, Jean Wood, of Springfield, Missouri; a brother, Sam Majors, of Monett, Missouri; daughters: Linda (Jason) Haase, of Pierce City, Missouri and Kristy (Eric) Lawrence, of Madrid, Iowa; three granddaughters: Grace Haase, of Springfield, Missouri, Sydney Lawrence of Madison, Wisconsin, and Madeline Lawrence of Ames, Iowa.

Tom has been cremated at his request.
