Victor Herman Aubey
Victor Herman Aubey, age 77, of Hamshire, Texas, passed away November 12, 2020, in Branson, Missouri. He entered this life July 3, 1943, in Beaumont, Texas, the son of L.J. and Germaine (Comeaux) Aubey. He was joined in marriage December 28, 1993, to Shirley Ann Sommer.
A man of the outdoors, Victor was an avid rancher born and raised in Texas. He worked for Cargill Fertilizer for 42 years. Victor was a member of the Southwest fertilizer organization, Cattleman’s Association, Ducks Unlimited (30 years,), and the Knights of Columbus. His crowning achievement was being a member of the ACTS team (a Catholic Christian men’s organization focused on adoration, community, theology, and service) for the last two years. Victor was an avid deer hunter and a custom knife collector, who could be found attending knife and blade shows as often as possible. Most of all, he loved his family and was always busy doing for others. He will be greatly missed.
Preceding Victor in death are his parents; son, Jason Louis Aubey; brother, George Aubey; sister, Noreen Jordan; and brother, Richard Aubey.
Surviving Victor are his wife of 27 years, Shirley Aubey; three daughters: Kim Aubey of Spring, Texas, Kelly (Kevin) Brigance of Brazoria, Texas, and Jill (Aaron) Williamson of Sumter, South Carolina; son, Kyle (Misty) Aubey of Mount Belview, Texas; grandchildren: Dianne Green, Ashley Williamson, Braden Mullins, Jon San Miguel, Madison Aubey, Rylan Williamson, Rhett Williamson, Brinley Aubey, Jameson Aubey, Dylan Aubey, Andrew Aubey, and Bailey Brigance; great-grandchildren: Talyn, Emerson, Aiden, Jasmine, Jackson, and Mason; two sisters: Norma Lewis and Brenda Webb; and many other friends and extended family.
