Vonda “Christine” Pendleton
Vonda “Christine” Pendleton, age 57, of Cassville, Missouri, passed away Sunday, November 24, 2019 at Cox Medical Center South in Springfield, Missouri.
She was born September 15, 1962 in Cassville, Missouri the daughter of Johnny and Captola (Burbridge) Cowles, who survive of Cassville. Also surviving are two sons, Jeremiah Pendleton and Johnny Strahan both of Cassville, Missouri; one sister, Tracy Roney and her husband Steve of Cassville, Missouri; one nephew, one niece, one great niece and one great nephew; aunts and uncles.
Christine graduated from Cassville HS and spent her entire life in Cassville. She loved laughing, smiling and making jokes. She never met a stranger and liked to visit with everyone. She enjoyed things that sparkled and pretty lights. Christine had a kind heart full of thankfulness and love. She had an unwavering faith in God and talked about how God was in control of everything, how beautiful heaven would be and was free to give a “THANK YOU JESUS.” One of her favorite things to tell you was that when you see a frog you should remember that the letters stand for Forever Rely on God. Christine would leave you with a smile and a laugh almost every time.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, November 29, 2019 at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Pastor Terry Bailey and Pastor Karty Burbridge will conduct the services. Burial will be at Mikeman Cemetery in Shell Knob, Missouri.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 1:30 P.M. Friday at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
