William “Bill” George Scritchfield

William “Bill” George Scritchfield was born to George and Hattie (Sanders) Scritchfield, in Ash Grove, Missouri, on December 18, 1939.

Graduated from Jasper, Missouri, High School in 1957. Moved to Ventura, California, where he met and married his wife, Wanda Higginbotham in 1961. They moved to Washington state with children, Dana and Doug, in 1968. There Bill started his career with United States Dept. of Agriculture, Forest Service, where he was a computer programmer. They transferred several times, living in Washington, Oregon, California, Arkansas, and finally Colorado, where he had to retire due to health in 1982. They traveled for several years ending up in Branson, Missouri in 1995, where Wanda, his wife, still resides.


Bill is survived by his wife, Wanda Scritchfield of Branson, Missouri; two children: Dana Scritchfield and Doug (Alyssa) Scritchfield, both of Loveland, Colorado; six grandchildren; and one sister, Bonnie (Richard) Jenkins of Branson, Missouri.


Bill was a member of the Branson Gospel Sunday and worked with Pastor Dave Hamner building the ministry.
