William “Bill” Henry Beers III

William “Bill” Henry Beers III, age 63, of Hollister, Missouri, passed away at his home, March 30, 2020, after a three-year battle with cancer. He entered this life November 23, 1956, in Story County, Iowa, the son of John and Muriel (Strate) Beers, who have preceded him in death. He was joined in marriage March 18, 1980, to Cynthia Lee Leming. Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Cremations of the Ozarks.

A man of the outdoors, Bill was an avid duck hunter who loved to fish, hunt, and camp. He opened his own shop in the Branson area where he made custom fishing rods. Bill was one of a kind and everyone loved him. With his whole heart he loved his family and was a great father and husband. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Bill is survived by his wife of forty years, Cindy Beers; daughter, Jamie Beers of Hollister, Missouri; son, William Henry Beers IV of Branson, Missouri; two sisters: Nancy Ingamells and Susie McIntyre, both of Florida; brother, John Mason Beers of Alaska; stepsister, Judith Taylor of Iowa; stepsister, Ann Taylor of New Mexico; stepsister, Joan Gustafson of Iowa; and grandchildren: McKenna Anaya, Waylon Utz Holt, and Rebecca Utz Holt.
