William “Bill” John Schwab

William “Bill” John Schwab, age 70, of Nixa, Missouri, passed away

December 1, 2020. He entered this life March 12, 1950, in Phoenix,

Arizona, the son of Casey and Mildred Schwab, who have preceded in him

in death.

Sitting on the porch with his dog, Deedee, Bill enjoyed a cup of Folgers

coffee and Camel cigarettes. He had an impeccable work ethic as a truck

driver and loved to travel. Fishing was a favorite pastime and everyone who

talked to Bill thought he was a great guy. He will be forever missed, and the

memories will never be forgotten including his favorite quote “How the hell

are you today?”



Bill is survived by his fiancée, Dorothy Chavez of Nixa, Missouri; daughter,

Jean (Justin) Reimche of Oregon; son, William “Bill” Schwab and longtime

friend Claudia Holt of Ozark, Missouri; brother, James (Theresa) High of

Springfield, Missouri; lifelong friends: Pat and Janie Whaler of Spokane,

Washington; and grandchildren: Jonathon and Cheyenne Dietrich of

Arizona and Evan Remche of Oregon.


A celebration of life will be held 11:15 a.m. Tuesday, December 15, 2020,

at The Sanctuary of Hope, 1790 Bee Creek, Branson, Missouri 65616.

Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Cremations of the

Ozarks.
