William Dennis Meeks

William Dennis Meeks better known as Wig to his friends & family, was a lifelong resident of the area. He entered this world on August 21st 1950 to His parents Lum Jefferson Meeks (Jeff) and Jewel Marie Meeks. He was the baby of the family. He started out his adult life as a farmer raising cattle, he went on to be an Over the road truck driver, a carpenter & eventually became a Member of the Iron Workers Union as a welder until serious injuries ended that career.

Wig Meeks

Wig had many loves in his life. He loved his Family, He loved his Friends, He loved Beautiful Women, He loved Harley Davidson Motorcycles, He loved Nascar...Specifically Earnhardt, He loved driving Chevy Trucks down dirt roads and he loved drinking a nice cold Budweiser and whiskey.

He was preceded in death by his parents Jeff and Jewel Meeks. Infant sister Shirley May. Infant twin Brothers. Sisters, Bonnie Tilden and Nora Bailes and Three Loves of His Life, Sue, Paula & Sherrie.

He is survived by his spouse Robin Meeks. Sisters, Audrey Hedrick, Betty Scurlock and Iva Nell Davis. Brothers, Leon Meeks and JD Meeks. Many nieces and nephews and other relatives.

Last but not least he is survived by those he loved the most, his Children, Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.

His son Dennis Meeks and his children and grandchildren, Martika Hall, Tresten Boyd and son, Akkadian, Ethan Hogue and Mason

His Daughter, Angela Johnson and her children and grandchildren Desiree, Austin and Brenden Johnson and children, Maddison and Christopher Johnson.

His Daughter, Mickie Baker and her children, Amelia Wickline and John Dylan.

His Daughter, Jamie Henry and her son Kash William Henry

Dennis departed this Life on May 19th, 2021 after a two-year battle with bone and prostate cancer.

No Service is planned at this time. Cremation was under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home Kimberling City, MO.
