Wilma Lee Gilley
Wilma Lee Gilley, age 92, of Cassville, Missouri, passed away Saturday, November 21, 2020 at Cassville Health and Rehabilitation.
She was born November 10, 1928 in Carroll County, Arkansas the daughter of Frank and Ida Ethel (Young) Darity. On July 13, 1946 in Columbus, Kansas she was united in marriage to William Herman Lowe.
Wilma grew up in Arkansas and received her education at Roach School House in the Roach Community. Most of her life she worked in housekeeping in Eureka Springs. In 2000 she moved from Arkansas to Cassville, Missouri to make her home. Wilma enjoyed people and visiting with them and she loved to dance.
Surviving are four sons, Johnnie Lowe, Ronnie Lowe and Leonard Lowe all of Cassville, Missouri and Frankie Lowe of Eagle Rock, Missouri; three daughters, Linda Crowell of Crane, Missouri; Brenda Vaughn of Warrensburg, Missouri and Patricia Ellison of Eagle Rock, Missouri; sixteen grandchildren, Steven Crowell, Michael Crowell, Melanie Crowell Fuller, Angela Buckley, Heidi Lowe Engle, Jeremy Lowe, Tiffany Lowe Howard, Tracy Lowe, Ashley Lowe, Robert Dewayne Lowe, Heather Kelly Lowe, Rusty Vaughn, Ryan Vaughn, Rachel Vaughn, William Blake Ellison and Richard Tanner Ellison; twenty-four great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Preceding her in death were her parents; two sons, Dwain Lowe and Bobby Lowe; one brother, Johnny Darity; five sisters, Ima Dean Studdard, Lorene Bonta, Roma June Darity, Inez Luker and Pauline Reynolds and a great granddaughter, Eastlyn Lowe.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday, November 30, 2020 at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Cassville under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Pastor Tony Ball will conduct the services.
Visitation will be from 12:00 until 12:45 P.M. Monday at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
